WERENBACH SOYUZ MS-04

Although this is a Swiss watch, the dial got definitely something to do with Russia. The dial is made out of material from the fairing of the Soyuz-04 space rocket, which was launched from Kazachstan in April 2017.

Dimensions: diameter 40mm, height 13mm, Weight: 87gr., Water resistance: 50 meters / 5ATM, Function: date, hour, minute, second, Glass: scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, Scale: Launch Sequencer , Numbering: each watch has a serial number Strap: textile.

The watch is beautifully finished and the caliber STP-1 Swiss made movement (identical to ETA 2824) is very accurate (+/+ 2sec. a day). The movement got a power reserve of 44h by frequency of 28,800 A/H.
The watch comes with a launch sequencer scale. Before the Soyuz rocket reaches orbit it has to go through three stages. S1 release of the four boosters (at 46 KM), (after 80 KM separation of the fairing) S2 release main rocket (169KM) and finally the engine cutoff at 207 KM delivering the payload into an initial earth orbit. The Soyuz MS-04 rocket lifted off as scheduled on April 20 at 10:13 hrs Moscow time at site 1 from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.
The official border of space is called the Karman Line. The definition of the Karman Line lies at an altitude of 100KM. The United States Airforce uses 260,000 feet (80KM) for spaceflight altitude.
